PRODUCT QUALITY

A prefabricated house structure is based on structural conifer timber which is planed and calibrated, fire-resistant thermal insulation for the overall warmth of the building, diffusion membrane and vapour barrier film which ensure that the structure is protected from humidity and wind. The timber, used for load bearing elements, is marked according to strength classes (C-16, C-24,…), and our engineers select the optimal one to ensure a prefab home stability and durability.

Thermal insulation materials and their layers are chosen according to valid building regulations and requirements. If the client requests – we can adjust the structure of a manufactured house according to their individual project and necessary U-values. We also adjust the structure according to the local regulations of the country where the prefab home is being delivered to.

Protection from wind in external walls and roof are formed on the outer side of the load-bearing structure. Materials used for it are chosen according to house location and façade finishing materials. Mostly a diffusion membrane is used, but there are conditions, where wind-proof gypsum boards or cement particle boards need to be used.

A stabilized vapor barrier is fixed on the interior side of the load-bearing structure and ensures that the house is tight and protected from moisture. 45mm thick laths are fixed on this vapor barrier and space is filled with thermal insulation. This layer is also used for electrical cables installation.

There are lots of facade finishing types and materials and all of them can be matched with prefabricated panel houses structure.  If plaster or clinker tiles are chosen for the finishing of facades – we will install it on your prefab home in the building site.

The chosen windows are mounted in the factory, so we can guarantee tightness at the jambs and we save you time at the building site. A structure, manufactured in this manner, ensures constant thermal resistance characteristics at any time of year. A prefabricated panel house needs less time to warm up, and the warmth stays inside longer because of the tightness of the structure. This leads to heating costs being reduced to a minimum.

Interior wall panels and ceiling/floor panels are produced to create interior spaces. Interior finishing boards are fixed in the factory or at the building site – this depends on the client. By standard – one side of the wall elements is closed in the factory and the other is left open to be able to install electrical cables easily, and the boards for the other side of walls are delivered on pallets to the construction site.

We only use certified, modern and ecological materials with the CE marking, all structural timber used for prefab house production is well dried (+/- 15 %) and planed/calibrated to 0.1mm preciseness. Quality materials and the professionalism of the specialists working with us ensure that our houses are durable. Their good ecological balance creates a pleasant living microclimate.
